The new European Pact on Migration and Asylum came into force in Belgium and the other EU Member States on 12 June 2026.
Housing
Residents who receive a positive decision find it increasingly difficult to find their place in the - already saturated - housing market. The search for a home is often difficult, which also limits the departures from the reception centres. That is why Fedasil's new Housing team, together with partners, is looking for solutions to address housing challenges.
Reach Out: looking back on 2025

Last year, the Reach Out-team of Fedasil reached and informed no less than 2,200 persons in Brussels and Flanders.
